Jennifer mcmeekin

Jennifer currently serves as the Director of the Raleigh County Healthy Families’ Alliance & Support Center, and is a Community Outreach, Resource, and Education Specialist for Community Connections, Inc. Jennifer has spent over 20 years helping those who struggle with addiction issues, mental health disorders and serving the public with substance abuse prevention, intervention, and recovery. Jennifer holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor’s of Science, Master’s in Professional Studies, and a Master’s in Leadership. Jennifer educates herself daily on advancements in the fields of prevention, addition, and recovery. She continues to study the Science of Addiction and its' impacts on our society, as well as evidence-based practices in prevention and recovery techniques. In her personal life, Jennifer loves spending time with her young daughter, her two adult daughters, and her four grandchildren. She coaches little league soccer and volunteers at other events, in addition to kayaking, biking, reading, and continuously learning.

Amie Van devender

Amie Van Devender serves as the Office Manager at Raleigh County Healthy Families Alliance and Support Center (RCHFASC), where she brings a wealth of administrative experience from office administrative roles in the federal government and private sector. Having relocated to Raleigh County, W.VA. five years ago from Arizona with her family, Amie is committed to supporting the community by fostering a nurturing environment where families can thrive, learn, and succeed in every level of their family lives. By leveraging her skills to ensure smooth operations and impactful support services, Amie keeps the Center operating on a daily schedule and providing more and more services to the families in Raleigh County. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring West Virginia's natural beauty and participating in community events. She also enjoys practical jokes and having a good time and lots of laughs with her family and friends.

Katie Cole is a 32 year old proud West Virginia native. She works as a Center Specialist at both of our offices. Her career history has always been person-focused and she feels happiest when she is connecting with and serving her local WV communities. When she's not in office, you can find her enjoying outdoor recreation and exercise with her husband. She volunteers as a community soccer coach with her local church and also loves working in children's programs. We would love for you to get to know her here at our awesome RCHF&SC!
